Victorian Knotwork Garden

Design size: 92 stitches square.  Not suited to aida.

This piece was originally designed to be made up into a triangular/kite-shaped scissor pocket, and comes with instructions for doing this.  You'll need some lining fabric, such as silk dupion, if you wish to  make it up as a scissor pocket.

Using square rhodes, eyelets and rice stitch, alongside cross stitch and back stitch, this is a great piece to try if you are relatively new to special stitches but confident working on evenweave/linen.

This beautiful photo shows the Knotwork garden as worked by TSS Member Corinna, as a page in her Needleworks Masters Monthly SAL book.
